Twice Upon a Time

as part of the Window Works series by the Brattleboro Museum, Brattleboro Vermont
The piece was installed in the front window of an antique/2nd hand furniture store as part of the Brattlboro Museums WindowWorks show. A setting of bedroom furniture occupied the front window. At closing time a curtain, a light scrim, was drawn across the expanse of the window, and the lights in the main part of the store were dimmed. At 8 pm a dream image based on a particular view in the store was projected for one minute across the scrim. Each night a different image was shown. During the day a scrapbook of the dream images lay open next to the bed in the window tableau.
